Shroppie Fly ratings

Last week's Chronicle report on local food businesses caused great concern to Kate and Andy, the licensees of the Shroppie Fly, as the list of south Cheshire businesses indicated they had attracted a low rating.

They have asked Audlem Online to point out that the Shroppie Fly, in fact, has attracted two stars in the new food and hygiene ratings issued by Cheshire East Council and its environmental health department.

Two stars places the premises in the top 50% of establishments. The new ratings are published in this week's Chronicle with an updated report explaining how some businesses, including the Shroppie Fly, now have a two star rating.
