Short-ARS on Saturday

Saturday's Short ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) takes a figure of eight walk passing near to the site of Bellaport Hall and Bellaport Old Hall. Approximately 5 miles.

The walk takes you over some of the beautiful ancient landscape surrounding Norton-In-Hales. You will climb up to near where Bellaport Hall once stood, overlooking parts of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Length of walk approximately 5 miles with about 8 stiles and should take about two hours. The walk is relatively flat with no sharp inclines, however weather permitting, there are wonderful views.

Last recce there were no cattle, mainly grassland and a few tracks and lanes therefore ok to take dogs.

Start time 9.30am on Saturday 30th May, from Audlem Car Park, parking at Hinds Head, finish back at Hinds Head for drinks/lunch.
