Sewers having a clean out

Audlem Online's underground special reporter has been investigating the work being carried out today in the village centre by a team using a large tanker. The sewers are having a good clear out, he is told, and hopefully the drains too. The two systems are separate, we are assured. Rumours that there is an emerging Welsh mining shaft in the village centre are, it appears, completely unfounded!
