A second Remembrance poem

All We Need

Just given time, that's all we need
To put the world to rights.
It's such a shame we can't agree
To put the world to rights.

But time runs out, it just won't wait
To put the world to rights.
It's not as if we haven't tried
To put the world to rights.

The times we've tried are etched in blood
To put the world to rights.
With endless talks and endless force
To put the world to rights.

It's heads and hearts and hands we need
To put the world to rights.
Compassion, love and understanding
To put the world to rights.

These combined , mixed well with time
May put the worlds to rights.
Shared out among our fellow men
Would put the world to rights.
