School trip 1958

The photo is dated April 1958 and was of a school trip by the then Audlem
Secondary School. I was one of the group.

The photo is taken on the top of Bickerton Hills and believe it or not we
cycled there and back and spent the day wandering all over the hills and exploring caves. The headmaster drove there in his car.

It was a great day thoroughly enjoyed by all.

What price such a trip today, what with Insurance cover, Health & Safety etc ?
