Our School
It was another special occasion to see all the children back at St James Church to celebrate Harvest Festival with family and friends. The children as always excelled in Harvest worship and showed why we must keep on helping others. Thank you to everyone for their generosity towards our Harvest Festival collections this week.
I can see that we have Sown the seeds of friendship within our community.
Harvest is a time for us to be together as a school community, to be thankful for what we have and to share with others who may be in need. It is also a moment to take stock of how our communities are changing: – no longer are harvest gifts of food and fresh produce being asked for but non-perishables and toiletries to support local food banks.
As we gather today we celebrate and give thanks for what our earth can provide.
