It has been a fun packed week with the children creating lots of wonderful memories. We started off with theOdd Sock day on Tuesday to launch Anti Bullying Week which really shows off individual personalities fromstaff and children.

This gave us why we need to look after each other as kindness is more important today thanit has ever been. Little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the peoplearound us.

This is one of the reasons, Reach Out is so important this year as Teachers and children wanted a theme that empowered them to do something positive to counter the harm and hurt that bullying causes. We believe asa school it relates to us more than ever before as ‘Let Your Light Shine’ is key and to always help ourcommunity by standing up for what is right.

The children of Audlem St James have always been Beacons of Light that shine brightly to ensure even in thedarkest days there has always been light. This week I have seen that again through Anti Bullying Week as wellas Children in Need as children have gone above and beyond in ensuring they make a difference to someone’slife either at school or in the wider world.
