School funding – Protest and Petition

Two AudlemOnline readers, Sonia Kay and Brian Bugeja, have sent us information about the on-going protest and petition about the schools funding situation in Cheshire East.

A protest was held in Nantwich; see here, and our MP, Antoinette Sandbach, has also raised the subject in parliament – see here.

There is a Gov.UK Petition: Reconsider The National Funding Formula so that NO child at school will LOSE out

Consultation

The public is also being asked to respond to the public consultation here; This is open to contributions until March 22nd.
