SCEG – Gold comes to Audlem

South Cheshire Embroiderers Guild

At our September meeting we were dazzled by the wonderful Gold work brought to us by Sara and her Mum from Golden Hinde who are based in Warrington.

Each piece had a lovely story as to who created them and the different gold work techniques involved. They also brought their wonderful threads and fabrics along for us to buy, it was a good job we brought spending money!.

Our next meeting is on the 17th November and the visiting speaker is Bridget Bowie and her talk is on "Paper, Stitch and Passion"

We meet in the Public Hall every third Thursday of the month except August with a full program of speakers and workshops. Please come and join us you will be made very welcome, you don't have to be an experienced embroiderer just have a love of fabric and thread.

The door is open from 10:00am as a visitor your entrance fee is just £4 which includes free tea or coffee and of course biscuits, you are allowed two visits to see if you like us enough to join.
