A real SOS!

If you have walked along the Shropshire Union to Bridge 80 to see the repair works on the canal you may well have used the temporary wooden steps which are still in place.

The repair work has now come to an end and the temporary steps are facing removal which seems such a shame given how much easier they are to use than the slippery stones on the bank on the opposite side of the bridge.

If you have used the steps and would like to see them remain, albeit with a few improvements (the filling in of the steps with stone perhaps) please let us know at info@overwatermarina.co.uk and we'll pass on your comments to the Canal and River Trust.
