Santa is travelling to Audlem tonight for the first of his three evenings in the village and surrounding area. His tour starts tonight at 6.00pm in Hankelow. From there, Santa, his sleigh and his helpers, all with collecting boxes for money which will be donated to local good causes, will travel from Hankelow Green, past the White Lion into Longhill Lane. By 7.30pm the route will be along Windmill Lane to Buerton centre before turning on the Woore Road to Chapel End. There is then a circuit that takes in Paddock Lane and Kettle Lane returning back to Chapel End before travelling down Longhill Lane to the junction with Windmill Lane. Santa then travels to the centre of Audlem and finishes his Friday night's work at 9.00pm.

Tomorrow evening, Saturday 9th, the sleigh will concentrate on Audlem. Setting out at 6.00pm from the Buerton direction, Santa will travel down the Woore Road and turn into Salford. He then follows a route along Heathfield Road, Monks Lane, Little Heath, Daisy Bank Crescent, Emberton Place and then into Broadways. There's a turn into Sycamore Close before travelling down to Hillary Drive and then to Stafford Street. Then it's towards the centre of the village taking in Vicarage Lane and then turning to go up Cheshire Street to Broadways before returning again to the village centre.

It should now be about 8.00pm and the tour will travel along Vicarage Gardens and Windmill Drive before concluding the evening at Brookfield Golf Club at 8.45pm.

On Sunday 10th December at 5.15pm, Santa and his sleigh will travel to Corbrook Court to meet the residents and staff. At 6.00pm, he will then return to Audlem and travel around the Tollgate Drive area, then Whitchurch Road, Moorsfield Avenue, Copthorne Drive before going to the western end of the village with visits to Heywood Ridge and Weaver View. He then turns into Mill Lane and travels to Swanbach and Cox Bank.

By 7.45pm, he should be back at Bagley Lane from where he'll travel along to Kynsall Lodge Farm, and then along Kettle Lane and Paddock Lane. At 8.30pm he will visit the Bridge Inn and Shroppie Fly before leaving at 9.00pm.

Santa's visit has been organised by ASET and Nantwich Round Table. Please give generously as all the money collected by Santa's helpers will be going to local good causes.
