The Santa Sleigh Donations 2018

As I have reported, we raised the grand sum of £1400 last December as the Sleigh with its band of hardy helpers battled its way through the streets, roads, lanes and avenues of Audlem, Hankelow, Buerton and surrounding district in heavy snow falls.
Last night, in the Lord Combermere, the recipients of a share of the funds met to receive their cheques. Each group being given £350 to help them in their community work.

Steven Taylor and George Walley of Crewe and Nantwich Round Table were here to present the cheques. As can be seen from the photos here displayed a great community evening -- once more exampling just what a superb spirit we have here in Audlem.
