The Santa Sleigh Collection

Last Christmas, we had the round table Sleigh here with Santa on board . The two nights spent sliding round all the streets and avenues of Audlem and District in a veritable snow storm, with the Santa helpers tramping many miles, resulted in a grand collection of £1400. A record ! We must have covered 10 miles in all .

Cold and well damp, we all finished at 9.30 pm on Sunday night in the Lord C to a warm fire, great food given by Allan and Jo -- and good beer.

On the 8th of May at 6.30pm, at the Lord Combermere, we will be donating all that money to local community groups representatives

• Audlem Saints children's Football,
• FASA ,
• Audlem Brownies & guides
• Audlem Football Club .

Santa's helpers will be there to join in the very welcome occasion- yet another example of the strength of community here in the Village and District .
