Santa Arrives for the Big switch On

A wonderful Christmas atmosphere was created in our village last night. Starting with candles, decorated by children, on the canal and followed by Santa's arrival in the Audlem Lass.

He walked up to the village square followed by children and parents together for the Big switch on of the magnificent Christmas lights throughout the village.

Children of St.James' Primary School sang wonderfully on the steps of St. James Church and the band played carols at Williams Newsagents.

Santa received children in his grotto whilst our great local shops stayed open late on Black Friday with bargains ready for Christmas.
