Audlem Saints U9s football team have recently recorded two successive 1-0 victories. On 3rd February they played Nantwich Tigers and it took a late own goal to settle the game. Both sides played well in difficult, windy conditions.

On 10th February, Saints took on a very good Boro Boys side. The game was an easy one to watch with lots of accurate passing. Clearcut chances were few and far between though, and the game was settled with a long range effort that went in off the underside of the bar.

Saints are sitting joint top of the league crrently, having conceded only two goals in the five games since Christmas. Indeed, defence is a strong point as Saints have kept a clean sheet in a remarkable 11 of the last 18 games!

Reuben Palin also writes: "Audlem Saints regretfully have to cancel the training this Satuday – due to it being half term many coaches are away."
