Saints power to another win

Having played every team in the league and remaining undefeated, Audlem Saints U8s began the sequence of return fixtures on Sunday. Tight defending was again a feature of the Audlem play and Boca Juniors were restricted to just the one clearcut chance. This was well saved by the Audlem goalkeeper who deserves credit for maintaining concentration.

At the other end, Audlem created good chances and were denied by the woodwork twice and by three super saves. Pressure did eventually tell though and a couple of unselfish, passing moves created good opportunities which were calmly taken. Audlem ran out 4-0 winners to stretch the unbeaten run to 11 games.

Next week it's the Cougars, a team that gave the Saints a tough game last time when a single goal settled it in Audlem's favour.
