Saints U10s suffered a second consecutive defeat on Sunday – losing out 2-1 to Nantwich Town. The game was a good one with chances created at each end. Audlem actually played very well and on another day could have won.
The Saints fell behind to an early goal but clawed themselves back into the game with a well worked corner. A couple of injuries to key defenders left gaps and Nantwich took advantage to score on the break with only a couple of minutes left.
The Audlem boys will have learnt a great deal from the last two weeks and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the cup quarter final played next Sunday – Vs Boro Boys.
