Audlem Saints U10s notched another good victory at the weekend with a 4-1 defeat of Crewe Terriers. Particularly pleasing was the nature of each of the four goals. They were all the result of accurate, crisp passing and excellent movement off the ball. Football really is a simple game when played like this! The first goal, after only 2 minutes was typical with 5 of the 7 players on the pitch having a touch in the move. The final pass when it came was an intelligent square ball to an unmarked player who slotted home. The goal scorer was the same player that had started the move on the half way line six passes earlier. Marvellous stuff.

The current League competition ends next week & Audlem look set to finish 2nd or 3rd, relinquishing the Championship for the first time in 4 competitions! A new league will start after Christmas and before then, the boys will be competing in a cup competition.

Next week's league game Vs Red Dot FC will be the 100th League game played by the boys and we will mark the occasion with a special report.
