Saints in Cup Tournament

Audlem Saints played their cup tournament on Saturday and then held their presentation night at the Bridge Inn.

We played three group stage matches and a semi-final. We drew the first two matches with no goals and then won the third.

The games were only twelve minutes long so it was fast paced and interesting In fact, most of the games were goal less and we thought it would end by drawing straws?

However we managed to make the semi finals but lost 2-0 to the eventual winners Crewe Cougers.

It was a fantastic day for the boys, finished with a lovely evening for the adults.

Dave Bebbington, the manager, says: "It's been a great season, really proud of the lads, but next season will be bigger and better now we have a name change and kit change. Audlem Hammers here we come!"
