Saints U11s' start to the season stretched to five games on Sunday, though this time it was just a point secured with a 1-1 draw against Nantwich.

This was a good game between two capable sides and the result was a fair one, though the way that it came about was a little odd. Nantwich dominated the first half but it was Saints that went into the break 1-0 up.

Then, in a reversal of the first half, Saints dominated the second half only to see Nantwich equalise. Saints are currently four points clear at the top of the table, though they have played one more game than their nearest rivals.

Next week's game is a 9.30am kick off at the Alex Soccer Centre Vs third placed Red Dot FC.

As an aside, coach David Parry is trying to trace the person that contacted him by email ( a newcomer to the village looking for a team for a young boy to play in). David has unfortunately lost the email so please could that person re-send. Thanks!
