Saints back to winning ways

After last week's first loss of the season, Audlem Saints got back to winning ways with a very good 5-1 defeat of Crewe Terriers. The Crewe side lived up to their Terrier name and made life difficult for Audlem but in the end chances were created and some good finishing saw the goals flow.

The best goal was a super direct free kick from about 20 yards, fired into the top corner. Excellent defending again, with just one little slip allowing Terriers a late consolation goal. Well done boys...and especially well done for getting the ball moving around the pitch quickly with simple passing!

The win nudged Audlem Saints into 2nd place in the league, one point behind leaders Red Dot who will provide the opposition next Sunday, kick of 2.10pm.
