Saints are champions

Audlem Saints U9s have won their last league game of the season 2-1 to secure the third consecutive league title! Well done boys!

The game itself, versus Boro Boys, was a pretty tense affair with Saints knowing that simply avoiding defeat would see them crowned Champions. They quickly established a 2-0 lead and only a well struck free kick prevented another clean sheet.

The league was won with 12 victories, a draw and one defeat. Audlem scored 30 goals and conceded only 8 – keeping 9 clean sheets in total, a fantastic team effort with everyone playing a vital part. Great vocal support from parents, a kit provided by ASET and great interest and encouragement from the village. The boys have really flourished as a team and are proud to represent the village.
