And after the Festival and Carnival....

.... a reminder there's another huge event coming up on Sunday 24th June at the Overwater Marina – Safety Afloat.

As you can see from the poster – click on either section to enlarge – there's entertainment for all. A great list of activities and it even ends with: "Plus Loads More."

The day will see the opening of a new bridge across the entrance to the marina, perhaps a model for one across the canal near the marina some day in the future!

There are safety demonstrations in the water and the RAF helicopter will also be on site, plus a chance to meet a lifeguard and police divers.

The list of events that day seems to be growing all the time and it should make a great day out.

There's a serious side too – you could learn to save a life. There will be free First Aid and CPR seminars. Audlem First Responders will be there too so you can learn more about their vital work in the area.

Make a note of the date – Sunday 24th June. It has all the makings of another memorable local event – and just a mile north of Audlem.
