On Sunday 3rd October thousands of runners will take to the streets for the London Marathon.
Amongst them will be Wendy Hall who has been inspired to run by an Audlem resident. Wendy's father-in-law is Roland Hall.
Roland was a familiar face around the village, contributing to many aspects of Audlem life such as the village plan, Village Hall annexe and the gym. and was Probus Social Secretary and President.
Last year, Roland was diagnosed with Parkinson's dementia and is now receiving excellent round the clock care at Corbrook Park.
Wendy wants to help other families and has teamed up with Dementia UK who provide the specialist support that families need to face dementia, offering one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions. Good luck Wendy!
