Run or Dye, the world's most colourful 5km, will be returning to Cheshire on Saturday 27th June for a colour-filled 5km run in the stunning grounds of Cholmondeley Castle.

The Cholmondeley family will welcome runners of all ages and abilities, taking part in the most colourful event the Estate has ever seen.

Hundreds have already entered into Cheshire Run or Dye with over 1,000 people taking part in 2014, participants are encouraged to run, jog or walk to the finish line, getting covered head-to-toe in colour as they go.

Four Dye Zones throughout the route will ensure there's no getting away from the all-encompassing and full-on brilliance of the most colourful 5km in the World.

The event will take place in the spectacular grounds of the romantic castle, above the beautiful lake, surrounded by sweeping lawns and gardens including the Temple Water Garden and Rose Garden. The Cholmondeley Family have lived at Cholmondeley in Cheshire since 1200 and Lavinia, Dowager Marchioness of Cholmondeley currently resides at Cholmondeley Castle.

Inspired by the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the 'Festival of Colours', Run or Dye gives runners, walkers and all speeds in-between, the opportunity to experience and celebrate in full colour the thrill of the Festival and introduce the idea of 'living life on purpose'.

Participants can run dressed in white and run or dress in their favourite and most extravagant costumes. As part of registration all participants will receive a goody bag with their white t-shirt, their very own dye packs and plenty more to get geared up for the most colourful 5km ever experienced.

After crossing the finish line, runners, and spectators, can celebrate in the world famous Dye Festival as the full force of the brilliant colours are blasted all around. The explosion of dye ensures that this really is the most colourful 5km in the world!
