The village was warned by Billy Gibbons when he posted the following on Chatbox:
"I apologise in advance for any disruption, chaos or general mayhem which occurs today (Tuesday) in Audlem due to my Rocket re-entering into the Village stratosphere. I thank you and...that is all."
There were concerns, indeed questions, raised about his likely trajectory and all hoped it wouldn't end in tiles with the rocket once again sticking out of Billy's roof, a sight that entertained visitors from the south for years.
As this one one of the first houses visitors from the Midlands passed after entering the official North of England, they must have wondered.....
