An update on the road repairs following Peter Oxley's story earlier today.
The following email has been received by Peter from Chris Shields of Cheshire East Highways this afternoon:
"I can assure you these works are going ahead. We currently have the gang working in Remer Street, Crewe, following which Wednesday or Thursday this week work will begin on the A525 and A529 from there. Kind regards. Chris."
