Road closure on the A51 (update)

The road is closed on the A51 in Nantwich between the Bluestone traffic lights and the Reaseheath College roundabout.

The police have closed the above section of road following an incident this morning involving a broken down HGV.

Traffic is currently being diverted via Nantwich town centre.

Efforts are under way to remove the vehicle from the site. We will endeavour to update as soon as we have further details.

Update: The A51 in Nantwich, between the Bluestone traffic lights and the Reaseheath College roundabout, reopened at 10.40am today and traffic is flowing normally.
