Road Closure at Cheerbrook

Cheshire East Council are asking motorists to 'plan an alternative route' this coming Friday due to the closure of the stretch of road between Peter De Stapleigh Way and Cheerbrook Roundabout being closed to allow surface dressings works to take place; I must say I fear that 'us folk in Audlem' are left with few options!

We continue to face the 10.6 mile diversion, until October 2022, due to the closure of the A530 at Leighton Hospital, and the stretch of road between Crewe Hall and Weston Road roundabout is also closed.

Good to see maintenance works happening though!
