River Weaver at top of Banks

After the almost continuous rain experienced in the last few weeks, a member of the Webteam took advantage of a break in the rain on Thursday to take a look at how well the river Weaver was coping.

As can be seen from the photographs the river is perilously close to the top of the banks in places.

Intriguingly whilst taking the photographs a machine was launched from the Hydro Flow Management Building across the river presumably measuring the rate of flow of the water.
