Ring Out For Peace

The 6th June 2024 marks the anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces mounted the largest amphibious invasion the world has ever witnessed.

This action brought about the liberation of N. W. Europe.

As part of this anniversary the Central Council of Bellringers has asked that as many bells as possible should be rung on Thursday 6th June at 6.30 in the evening.

Audlem bellringers will ring at that time for about 20 minutes and then their normal practice will start at 7.30.
