Red Kite spotted

For all the ornithologists out there, I thought you might be interested to hear that we spotted a red kite on Sunday afternoon just outside the village.

Typically the bird was being mobbed by crows. It was sighted at the Audlem end of Coole Lane heading south.

Hopefully we are seeing the population spreading up from Shropshire.
