A reminder! Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or not, don't miss the Count Me In! Recordathon tomorrow Sunday (5th September).

It's a unique occasion bringing together many of Cheshire's key ecologists and conservationists for a totally 'wild' recording session at the newly developed Overwater Marina in Audlem.

There's a free mini-bus from Chester Zoo – (9am depart – 4pm return) – booking essential! – or just drop in any time between 10.00am-4.00pm.

This is your chance to get up close and personal with mammals, moths, spiders, aquatic invertebrates and much more. Please note: mammals and moths will be recorded and released at the start of the event.

Find out which wildflowers will entice wildlife into your garden. Book onto one of our guided walks and make sure you don't miss anything, or pick up one of our guides and stroll around at your leisure.

Try your hand at some of the survey techniques used by the experts – maybe even uncover a rare or first sighting for the region! It happens! Challenge our experts with your questions or photographs.

Also there are Kids activities – design-a-bug; sketch; snip and stick; hitch a tractor ride and lots more.

There's ample parking – the Marina coffee shop is open all day. Why not make a full day of it and take a leisurely stroll along the canal towpath to the beautiful historical town of Audlem.

For more information contact me by email or phone: 01244 383749. See you there – our wildlife is Counting On You!
