Record entries for Transport Festival

There will be more vehicles on display this weekend at Audlem's Festival of Transport than ever before. 

With over 335 cars, buses, motorbikes,bicycles and even a helicopter registered, it will be a show not to be missed!  

Highlights will include a Maserati 250s sports racing car and a Lotus 18 GP car, both with fantastic racing histories, with the Lotus having been reunited with Stirling Moss at the Goodwood Festival ofSpeed only this year. 

To find out more about them, you must come along to Audlem Playing Field this Sunday.  The parade will begin in Hankelow at midday (which is half an hour earlier than in previous years).

11:30  Vehicles assemble in Hankelow

12.00  Parade leaves Hankelow

12.30  Parade arrives at Audlem Playing Field

16.30  Vehicles leave display area

17:00  Helicopter departs

Other attractions include the Audlem Boat Festival. There will be a gathering of some 30+ historic boats along the canal.

There will also be charity stalls, a small fairground, hog roast and ice cream on the playing field.

Car parking will be available at the school and on the designated car parking field (signposted). Unfortunately the car park next to the playing field will be completely closed off for the event.
