This Saturday will be one of the most up close and personal gigs you are likely to attend at FatPigeonLive here in the village of Audlem.
The Reads bring their own laid back selves to conjure up moments of Ambient-electro-folk-rock, an eclectic mix, within a festival of eclectic sounds. From lyrical story telling at its best to lyrical humour this band will keep you in their spell.
The Reads second album Lost at Sea is a creative evolution from Stories from the Borders album, and singles Spitting Feathers and Scarlet are not shy from appearing on the radio waves of BBC Radio 2, Radio Wales and Radio Merseyside to name a few, Janice Long, for one, is a long time fan of their music.
This gig here in Audlem is a run up to appearing with Finley Quaye at the Live Rooms in Chester on April 10th.
FatPigeonLive can confirm that in the Introducing slot for this gig we have talented singer/songwriter Lydia O'Dowd. A UK Teen Star Finalist, Lydia is building a loyal fan base following the release of her new single Chemical Reaction.
