Quality care specialist, Morris Care, has celebrated 25th years in the care industry with its annual summer party.

Residents and carers at Corbrook Park in Audlem, formerly known as Corbrook Court, enjoyed the two events and took advantage of the recent warmer afternoons and longer evenings in the home's landscaped grounds and gardens.

Taking in the views, residents enjoyed listening and dancing to a local Glenn Miller tribute band, which played a collection of classics including 'The White Cliffs of Dover' and 'Moonlight Serenade'.

As part of the group's 25th anniversary celebrations, Morris Care invited local carers, nurses, local dignitaries and the residents' families to toast 25 years of memories and mark the company's milestone.

Guests were treated to a specially prepared, traditional summer BBQ menu from Morris Care Executive Chef Paul Ratcliffe.

Corbrook Park's Home Manager, Carolyn Farmer, said: "Thanks to the lovely weather it was wonderful for our residents and staff to enjoy and celebrate with us. The music got everyone dancing and provided the perfect excuse to mark 25 years in the care industry and enjoy the glorious weather.

"At Corbrook Park, and across all of our homes, clinical care is supplemented by first rate social well being. At each of our homes we have a dedicated social life coordinator who is part of the core care team to ensure that the compassion and care residents receive from our nursing staff is also supplemented by a focus on wellbeing.

"These celebrations allow our residents to meet with others, as well as keep them connected to friends and family life. They say variety is the spice of life and we want to make sure that our residents are able to maintain independence and enjoy day to day life as best as they can."

Situated in the village of Audlem, Corbrook Park offers quality premium care from respite convalescence to palliative care through to specialist care for those who are living with dementia and need a little extra day to day support.
