'Railway' History Society meeting tonight

Audlem History Society's next meeting is this evening, Thursday 20th November, at 7.30pm in the Scout & Guide Hall.

After a short AGM, our speaker will be Geoff Farr, seen here to the right, who, through slides and commentary, will take us on a very interesting flight, revealing what remains of the old railway line.

The journey starts at Market Drayton, then flies on over Adderley and Coxbank to the site of the old Audlem Station and then on to Coole Pilate, Hack Green and Nantwich.

Finally we will see views of the centre of Audlem, Little Heath, the school etc.

As someone who has experienced an actual flight with Geoff, I can truly emphasise the enjoyment of such a journey and the different perspectives it shows of our lovely village.
