Prize-winning Audlem photos

Have no fear, this is not a 'Climate Change' story with winter pictures of the canal in August!

The three pictures were all winners at this year's Nantwich Show at the end of July and were taken by local resident Ann Draper.

Ann is well known to many local people as she has spoken to WI and Probus groups in the area on subjects as diverse as 'Climate Change and Renewable Energy" and "How to Live with Men". The latter is packed with amusing reflections on the differences between men and women.

Both subjects have been reported on Audlem Online on several occasions, most recently earlier this month after Ann spoke to Burleydam & District WI.

Ann's top photo of the canal at Audlem won first prize in the autumn/winter category at the Nantwich Show. Her photograph of Autumn leaves picked up third place in the same category.

She also won second prize in the Reflections category for the bottom photograph of the Shropshire Union taken just south of Audlem.
