Praise for 5As

My 10 year old daughter has become involved with the panto this year for the first time and so we went along to support her last weekend on Saturday night.

Quite apart from the fact that she has had the time of her life (have never seen her so animated about anything quite as much as this!), it just reminded me what a fantastic group 5As are for the children and young people of the village.

The vast majority of the members are youngsters under the age of 15 and it is so clear that they all have an absolute ball.

I felt that it was probably highly justifiable to give them a bit of positive PR around the work that they do with Audlem's young people.

Although it is only once a year the rehearsals started way back in October and so they are, effectively, a highly focused youth club for four months of the year!

Audlem Online adds: Our photos are from previous years' pantomimes as the costumes this year were kept as a closely guarded secret. If some really good photos are now available, we would love to use them.
