POTP to sell out

The promise of sunshine has brought a last minute rush to buy the remaining tickets to this year's party on the park.

Organisers have been delighted by the last minute interest in tickets as temperatures are set to rocket this weekend. Andrew Smith of ASET, who runs the event's box office from the village Post Office has said "like the weather forecast, the phone has been red hot all week. Ticket sales have been phenomenal. Last year broke records but this year is set to be a smash hit."

Anyone who has not got tickets is advised to get them at Audlem Post Office (opening hours), online sales will end on Thursday evening. Don't wait until Saturday – there will only be a few tickets on the gate, as the event is nearly sold out.

ASET advise gazebo spot holders to set up early, bringing their tickets with them. No vehicles will be allowed on the field after 3.00pm. The main gates will open at 4.00pm. Music starts at 6.00pm with Fireworks finale at 10.30pm.
