At the Parish Council meeting on Monday it was reported that no satisfactory answers have been received from the Post Office Counters, other than expressions of sympathy and a repeated commitment to getting something in place.
No deadline for this has been given, in spite of the five week timescale promised in April when the Post Office closed, which is now some 12 weeks ago!
The only hopeful smidgeon of light on the horizon is the backing of Antoinette Sandbach, our MP, who is to meet the Post Office authorities later this month, probably the 28th, and she has promised to raise the Audlem Post Office situation as a matter of priority.
