Post Box Tribute
A most lovely person has knitted this to place atop the freshly painted post box at the entrance to Daisy Bank Crescent.
A person of great skill with the knitting needles and a huge caring heart what a wondrous creation for our Marvelous Queen who we all now mourn . The photos show you both sides of the box — and I still wonder who came out in the quiet hours to freshly paint the pillar box .
The one and same person perhaps .
Lifted my heart indeed as I came back from a long drive from the north .
