Police Panel seeking new member

Do you live or work in Cheshire? Would you like the opportunity to have an input into the scrutiny of policing in the county?

The Cheshire Police and Crime Panel is seeking an independent member of the public to help scrutinise policing and the work of the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner until May 2028. Open to anyone who lives or works in Cheshire, the role involves attending around 10 to 12 meetings a year, contributing to key decisions on policing, community safety and governance, and working alongside elected councillors as a full voting member. The Panel welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly younger applicants aged 18 and over, and provides training, expenses and a small allowance.
