Police alert – suspicious vehicle

At about 1.00pm on Wednesday 16th May, a man was seen acting

suspiciously in Chapel Close, Audlem. The man was challenged by a resident

and responded in an aggressive manner. He is described as in his fifties,

small with a 'weather beaten face' and a curly mopped hairstyle.

He was in a silver Ford Fiesta J799 VNT. Checks on this vehicle reveal

that it has previously been seen in suspicious circumstances in the Newport

area and is of interest to the police.
