Many of those with disability/mobility issues in our community are unable to join in the social activities in our area, because of funding cuts and the high cost of suitable, adapted, private transport. This leads to social isolation, recognised nowadays as one of the major problems of rural living.
We are now therefore looking to use the experience from the successful Wheelyboat project to provide a specially adapted minibus, suitable to transport
This service will be offered through an existing experienced Team of local Volunteers, ensuring effective and professional delivery on a "not for profit" and therefore affordable basis for its End Users.
We are currently seeking funding from a variety of sources and it is essential that we can demonstrate support for the project within the local community.

Petition pages are also available in Williams' Newsagents, and message of support can be sent directly to rod.derbyshire@btinternet.com
