Victor Vernon writes: "Dog owners exercising their dogs on the playing field off the lead are causing unintended problems to nearby sheep. There has been two seperate incidents today of sheep worrying in the field beyond. Ewes in this field are heavy in lamb and such events cause distress to the sheep and the possible death of the unborn lambs. The strong instincts of a dog make them difficult to control when they are in pursuit.

"I call upon dog owners who both exersise their dogs on the playing field and the footpath in front of Moss Hall to keep them on a lead at all times."
