Playing field improvements

I am delighted to report that the Cheshire East Council are planning to turf the areas to the front of the goal mouths.

This work will be done late May / early June, as we have to allow for carnival AND a big event for the team.

Once the turfing has been done the area will be coned off to allow the grass to knit properly. As such we will ask all to respect this.

Fifteen young women of the village etc, have formed a team- and they wish to play a match against us, Audlem FC. All sponsored money to go to a charity.

More on this after I meet with the girls this week, but it promises to be an "eye popping" game – with whatever tactics are employed to win!
