Planning application responses

Ed: Audlem Parish Council have provided a corrected address to which to send your comments, so we are rerunning this article.

Some problems have been experienced by residents objecting to the Moorsfield/Tollgate proposals via the Cheshire East Council planning portal.   

When they press 'submit' nothing seems to happen  Despite assurances from the Planning Department that it will 'probably be okay' the resident checked and was told the response had not arrived.   Nor does there appear to be any automatic acknowledgement that a response has been received.   

In view of these problems, if this 'glitch' happens when responding to planning applications it may be safer to send in a hard copy by post as well or instead.

So, your comments, for or against, can be communicated by any one of three methods ie:

Follow the action list on the right to make your comments.

Email to: planning@cheshireeast.gov.uk NB Your comments must be in the email itself and not as an attachment.

Or by post to: Development Management, PO Box 606, Municipal Buildings, Earle St, Crewe CW1 2BJ (If using email or post, please be sure to state the planning application number which is 16/0725N, and your own name and address. )

Whichever method you use to send in comments all must be received by Cheshire East Planning department before midday on 21st April 2016.
