Pipe smokers rally in Audlem

Pipe smokers joined up on the bank of the Shropshire Union canal on Tuesday evening this week. We are told the two dozen or so pipe enthusiasts, who are now pretty well restricted to the great outdoors by smoking restrictions, made a fine sight. Despite all the health warnings, all seemed to survive the experience with none disappearing in a puff of smoke!
