Photos from recent Awards Ceremony

These photographs were taken on Tuesday, as Richard Furber and Mike Hill recieved numerous awards on behalf of the village. Guest of honour Alan Titchmarsh was presenter at the ceremony in London, where Audlem won DEFRA national village of the year for 'Building Community Life', CalorGas North of England Village of the Year and Cheshire Village of the Year, and more. The 6 people in the top left photo are from left, Jim Knight (Minister for Rural Affairs at Defra); Richard Furber (Chairman Audlem Parish Council); Mike Hill (Audlem Parish Council); Sylvia Batty (Cheshire Community Council); Stephen O'Brien MP, and Alan Titchmarsh (broadcaster and writer).
